About the Historic House

In the beautifully decorated garden in front of Tohyang Historic House, there are potter wood kiln, white lotus pond, and garden trees that add charms to it all season long. There is a folk playground in the backyard for Geunae(swing), Neolttigi(see-saw jumping), Tuho throwing(ring toss), Jegichagi(chuttlecock kicking), Paengyi spinning(top), etc. Kim Heeseon, the lady of the house, is a literary and her poetries are written on pots and tiles to extend the house’s beauty. The couple introduces calligraphy writing, pottery making, poetries, and folk musical instrument experience, so that you can have special experience in this historic house.
The couple strive to preserve the historic house and Korean traditional heritage, so that you can enjoy the beauty of Tohyang Historic House as much as you want. Also, the house has seperated shower facility which helps you having warm and cozy stay.
